We went down to the River at Leach Park and I wanted to find a different perspective than all my previous shoots at the location.  We walked down below the I-74 Bridge and were greeted by a swarm of river bugs!  I was pleased by the results though!

The Flower Girls were at the altar for formals with Brooke, and this was the best pose they could offer at this age!  But it's a great pose.

Nathan and Alyssa's Wedding in the Quad Cities

I think you can tell by this image of the Flower Girl coming down the aisle that it was really hot and humid!

We have moved!

We are now completely moved in to the new Studio in Downtown Davenport and working out of the new space. We still have a lot of work to do but glad to be the new location. After being in an office building for the past five years it's great to have a storefront on a busy Downtown Street.   Being close to the corner of 3rd and Main Street does give us a more urban experience, and it's as urban as it gets in the Quad Cities!  There are five popular wedding reception venues within walking distance, as well as a wide variety of restaurants, hotels, and nightlife.  The alley behind the Studio is a popular location for photographers shooting senior portraits and weddings.  I have worked there many times and now I can walk out the back door to shoot.

 

Our phone number is the same, and the new address is 216 W. 3rd Street, Davenport.

 

I appreciate the patience of our clients while we have moved the Studio and tried to keep up with normal business.  We are now focused on getting all the albums delivered and editing caught up.

Kurt and Michelle's Wedding in the Quad Cities

The Figge Art Museum is a great venue for wedding photography even though you can't shoot in the museum.  It's even better now since our Studio is only one block away!

This was my first chance to do some wedding photography at the renovated historic Hotel BlackHawk in downtown Davenport.   The Hotel is hip and trendy and reminds me of one you would see on Michigan Avenue, Rush Street or the gold Coast in Chicago.  And it's only a block away from the new Studio too!
