Brock and Kate were married on July 9th at St Anthony's Catholic Church in Atkinson, Illinois. The reception was held at Jumers Casino in Rock Island, Illinois. Both Brock and Kate have been either guests or attendants in weddings I have photographed in the past for their friends and relatives.
The first two images were part of the sequence when Brock and Kate met for their "first look" before the ceremony.

I have been doing a lot more "intimate" portraits with my wedding clients this year. I think it's important to have a set images that show love and affection between the Bride and Groom, in addition to the relaxed and traditional portraits.
I really like this moment Brock and kate share during the ceremony. And you can't tell by the image that there was no air conditioning in the Church on a hot, July day!
Brock and Kate own a beautiful property with two lagoons and this is where we shot this image. I love the clear blue skies and the great pose they gave me!
